Photo credit - Konrad Scriba With everyone onboard, we headed to Servant’s Quarters for our first dive. Almost everyone came back a happy diver apart from poor Elissa, as she hadn't put her memory card in her camera and was unable to take any photos of the sharks that were hanging around. Sarah was very happy got to see a baby shark do do do do do do..... A very nice dive had by all with very good viz. On the second dive, we tried Mikes Meander, but it had a ripping current, so we moved to Grey Nurse Gully, where Steve got to do his surface interval dive. Once everyone's SI was up, they all started to jump back in, apart from Taz who was a little unwell with a headache. It was a bit of a challenge getting back on the boat with the swell, but all managed to get on. Big thanks to Konrad for helping get the divers back onboard safely. Another good dive with Konrad reporting seeing a black spotted cat shark and some good-sized blue groper. With everyone back on board, we headed back to the marina. Will Glendon

Without fear or favour and not wanting to influence our other Cray hunters. I have decided to refrain from catching oversize crays from this day forward. I won’t say never, but it’s my intention to use constraint. Feeling a little guilty after my last catch on Saturday. Given the age of the crays at this size and not being able to ascertain breeding capability from my research, I figure large breeders, if viable, probably require some protection. So, in a nutshell, join the moratorium or not – no pressure….
