Hello Spring!
Spring has finally arrived—about time! The forecast this weekend looks absolutely perfect, and we’ve still got a couple of spots left on Sunday’s dive. Don’t sit at home wishing you were underwater—jump in and join us!
And there’s more good news… our November dives are now open for bookings! From November, we’re cranking up the action with double-header weekends—that’s Cape Cruiser heading out every Saturday and Sunday right through the warmer months. Twice the dives, twice the fun—so dust off your gear and get ready!
Annual Rottnest Pilgrimage 2026 - Sold Out
This event is sold out, boy that was quick! Thanks to those that booked so promptly, if there are any cancellations we will let those that missed out know ASAP.
Deep Dive Course - EOI
Are you interested in advancing your diving skills and experience with deep diver certification?
We have an opportunity for a small group to complete the training at cost (dive agency registration + boat costs).
Time commitment:
- ~2hrs theory on a weeknight
- Double dive at Rockingham Wreck Trail on Saturday to hone your skills
- Double deep dive on Cape Cruiser on Sunday to sites >30m
No date set at this point – we’ll see what works for most people.

Containers for Change
Did you know the Underwater Explorers Club is registered with Containers for Change? Simply swap your payment method to 'donate' when recycling your cans and bottles, and search for Underwater Explorers Club of Western Australia Inc. or use our member number C10320909.
Important Information for Dive Bookings
Please do not book dives for other divers. If we receive double bookings from one diver, the second booking will be automatically cancelled.
If you would like to receive notifications about dive cancellations during peak periods, please email divebookings@uecwa.com.au with your name and phone number to be added to the WhatsApp group.
Guests on the Boat
A reminder: For all boat trips (including Christmas lights), UEC members must be on the boat with any guests booked under their membership.
Cancelling a Dive Ahead of Time
Important to note that you cannot cancel dives using the dive calendar. Cancellation needs to be made by email directly to divebookings@uecwa.com.au
Please note our cancellation policy below as per the club bylaws:
Cancellations between 07:45 and 16:00 the day before: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations after 16:00 the day before: 100% cancellation fee.
No-shows: Full event fee.
Appeals for waivers due to medical reasons or family emergencies can be submitted in writing to the committee.
